Western Indian Crafts
This quarterly from January 1973 consists of a description of western Indian crafts which were donated to the historical society by Ella Bean Livingston. Livingston built up a collection while serving as an army nurse in New Mexico, which amounted to six cabinets worth of artifacts. This newsletter also contains a review of news from the Rutland Historical Society Museum, as well as a book review of a piece of work by Castletonâs own John Huden. Hudenâs Book is a study of Native American culture and was intended to serve as a guide for those seeking to discover their own Indian artifacts.
